Don't Fall for the CEO's "Evil Twin" (Scam Alert!)

Hey Team,

You know those cheesy action movies where an evil twin shows up and starts causing trouble? Well, we have a real-life version popping up on WhatsApp. Someone is impersonating our CEO and trying to get people to do some seriously weird stuff, like buying gift cards for them.

Let's be real: Our CEO will never ask you for favors like this through WhatsApp. It's a classic scam.

So, if "our CEO" texts you asking for money, gift cards, or your first-born child, remember these golden rules:

  • Don't reply. The evil twin doesn't deserve your time.

  • Don't click any links. They're probably booby-trapped.

  • Don't send money. Our official budget doesn't include gift cards from a fake CEO.

Instead, the best thing to do is block the number and report it to IT or your manager right away. When in doubt, call the real CEO through their official company contact—you'll hear their real voice, not the evil twin's cackle.

Stay safe and keep being awesome! Below find the Image of the attemted SCAM.
