About the Role

Signa Artisans in Motion is appointing a Quality & Compliance Manager to design, build, implement, and govern the organisation’s quality, compliance, audit readiness, safety, and risk-management frameworks as the business

continues to scale. This management role requiring substantial experience in technical training, engineering or workshop-based environments, and regulated or audit-driven organisations.

The role is accountable for protecting the organisation’s permission to operate by ensuring that training delivery, learner management, facilities, workplace learning, contractual commitments, and expansion initiatives are legally compliant, audit-defensible, safe, and aligned to ISO-aligned quality and safety principles.

Requirements

This is not a developmental role.

Applicants must meet all the following:

• Relevant degree or diploma (Engineering, Quality Management, Safety Management, Technical Training, or

similar)

7–10+ years’ senior experience in quality, compliance, governance, or audit-driven environments

• Proven experience in technical training centres, workshops, or engineering environments

• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 principles

• Demonstrated ability to build and implement systems, not only maintain them

• Strong planning, documentation, Excel, and executive presentation skills

• Ability to operate independently with senior-level judgement and authority

Duties & Responsibilities 

The Quality & Compliance Manager will be responsible for establishing, governing, and continuously improving quality,

compliance, and audit readiness across the organisation. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Designing, implementing, and governing the organisation’s Quality & Compliance framework, aligned to ISO- aligned quality and safety principles.

• Acting as the senior authority for accreditation, ETQA compliance, regulatory alignment, and external audits

• Ensuring all training delivery, assessment, learner management, workplace learning, and facilities are legally

compliant, audit-defensible, and consistently applied

• Establishing and enforcing document control, including policies, procedures, SOPs, training materials, and compliance records

• Leading Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) systems and ensuring safe, compliant training centres and workshops

• Implementing and sustaining 5S workplace standards within technical training and workshop environments

• Conducting internal audits, compliance reviews, and risk assessments, and driving corrective and preventive actions

• Providing governance oversight to operational departments to ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards

• Leading or governing high-risk and strategic projects, including:

• New training sites

• New programmes or qualifications

• Major client or partnership initiatives

• Ensuring expansion initiatives are compliance-ready prior to go-live and do not compromise accreditation or

safety

• Reporting directly to the CEO on:

• Compliance status

• Audit readiness and outcomes

• Quality risks and trends

• OHS and safety performance

• Escalating material risks or non-compliance timeously and recommending corrective actions to protect the organisation’s licence to operate
