About the Role
The Project Coordinator: Client-Host Partnering is responsible for coordinating client and host partner relationships to secure quality workplace placements for YES candidates. The role focuses on identifying, vetting, contracting, and maintaining host companies that provide meaningful 12-month work experience with strong potential for permanent employment. The incumbent builds and nurtures strategic host partnerships, supports the achievement of business objectives, contributes to sustainable job creation, and works with the Business Growth Manager to identify opportunities to convert host partners into client.
Requirements
Education
• Diploma/Degree in Human Resources Management would be advantageous.
• Extensive knowledge on the YES initiative, SETA’s/training legislation.
• Project Management Certificate will be advantageous.
• Advance knowledge of MS Office.
• Driver’s License with own / reliable transport
Experience
• Minimum of 4 years recruitment experience.
• 1–2 years' experience in a supervisory/leadership role.
• Proven track record of delivering recruitment outcomes and meeting tight deadlines.
• Previous supervisory experience is advantageous.

Duties & Responsibilities
Overall Host Partner Liaison
• Implementation of multiple client accounts at a time by managing host partners’ workplace experience practice effectiveness while paying attention to detail and managing deadlines.
• Liaise with stakeholder ensuring alignment on client outcomes between clients, suppliers, service providers, Host partners regulatory body and cross-functional internal teams, co-ordinating to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to client needs.
• Coordination collaboration, seek efficiencies and drive the required outcomes both from the business unit and from its people and resources.
• Host Company and candidate as well as the Strategic Partner/Advisors Relationship Management.
Host Partner Sourcing:
• Leverage market insights and business data to prioritise prospects with long-term collaborationth trajectory and alignment to youth development objectives.
• Leverage market insights and business data to prioritise prospects with long-term collaboration potential.
• Vet, and establish partnerships with host companies or entities to ensure quality workplace experience opportunities for candidates within various industries, NGOs, and SMMEs and Corporates that have valid entry level roles that can be absorbed. Foster sound partnerships that result in sustainable employment opportunities and drive economic pathways for youth.
• Schedule and conduct host identification meetings with all relevant team members to ensure alignment and readiness.
• Conduct pre-hosting site visits to assess suitability and compliance with workplace experience Requirements.
• Map and maintain a pipeline of high-potential host partners segmented by industry, size, and transformation readiness.
• Create a reliable host partner database with vetted hosts.
• Ensure Host agreements are compliant and ensure relevant and industry/specific workplace operational requirements/ realities are clarified for matching effectiveness.
• Establish formal partnerships with effective National incubation hubs (strictly as exception) to expand host opportunities and enhance.
• Ensure YES candidates are placed in reputable workplace environments that align with the rollout plan.
• Liaise between host companies or entities and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of matched-placement solutions.
• Expand Program reach - Grow the reach of host partners by 70% across all 9 provinces to
maximize placement.
New Project Implementation Coordination
• Understand company’s services and products, SLA requirements as per contract and proposals and align delivery accordingly and identify new business.
• Maintain up-to-date host files and documentation, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Update host information on the Host Database.
• Evaluate and mitigate risks in line with Signa Opportunity’s objectives and client HR policies.
• Ensure employers and candidates’ obligations align with client and YES requirements.
YES Programme Matching Sustainable Outcomes
• Facilitate effective matching between youth and host employers to optimise skills alignment and potential for permanent placement.
• Manage candidate allocation, including setting up, attending, and presenting at meetings with currentand potential hosts.
• Track placement-to-absorption conversion metrics and identify factors influencing retention and absorption rates.

• Assist in scoping roles and guiding host companies in identifying relevant roles for YES candidates.
• Support recruitment and selection, by sharing available job roles that do align with YES candidate profiling to ensure an effective matched placement process.
• Provide guidance to the Recruitment Officer for effective matching candidates to host requirements.
• Liaise with host companies to ensure candidates have all necessary resources before the start date.
• Collaborate with the Workplace Coordinator, Candidate and Account Manager to develop contract terms for candidate absorption and transfers.
• Develop the best practices for managing New Clients and host to collaborate on products and service.
• Conduct host satisfaction surveys and provide insights to the Business Growth Manager.
• Follow up on tasks and meet deadlines to achieve maximum results.
Risk Management
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of potential hosts’ operational stability, workplace readiness,
mentorship capacity, and potential for youth absorption.
• Evaluate the host’s historical employment trends, growth stage, and alignment with transformation objectives.
• Ensure that host vetting complies with company, YES, and client quality standards.
• Advise the Account Manager on host company changes that may impact candidate attendance, tracking, and safety.
• Assess workplace safety by conducting pre-hosting site visits and ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws (EEA, BCEA, LRA, etc.).
• Ensure stipend payment, attendance records, leave record etc are accurate and up to date and collaborate in query handling, problem solving and dispute handling inclusive of stop stipend arrangements, disciplinary measures and compliant candidate termination.
• Manage the SLA contracting process with host companies and ensure compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
• Maintain up-to-date host files and documentation, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Update host information on the Host Database.
• Evaluate and mitigate risks in line with Signa Opportunity’s objectives and client HR policies.
• Ensure employers and candidates’ obligations align with client and YES requirements.
Business Development & Relationship Building
• Identify and escalate high-value host prospects who show potential to transition into client partners investing in the YES programme or other group offerings.
• Collaborate with the Business Growth team to position YES as a BBBEE solution, promoting its benefits to host organisations capable of sponsoring placements.
• Introduce and cross-sell other solutions such as graduate programme, an/or broader Signa solutions to suitable prospects, while respecting SPs and Advisor’s relationships for existing hosts/clients.
• Maintain and nurture host relationships through professional follow-ups and performance feedback sessions.
Reporting
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on host acquisition, contracting, placement, training, and support activities.
• Identify additional reporting areas to improve host experience and program effectiveness.
• Provide host companies with updates on YES program developments.
• Report to the Senior YES Account Manager and maintain a formal record of business obligations.
Leadership and Collaboration
