About the Role
The Induction Facilitator is responsible for delivering engaging and informative induction programs to new learners, ensuring a seamless transition into the learnership program. The facilitator will provide a comprehensive overview of the learnership’s procedures and expectations, equipping learners with the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed in the learnership. The Induction Facilitator plays a critical role in setting the tone for a positive learner
experience, promoting a culture of inclusivity, and supporting the successful integration of new learners into the learnership program.
Requirements
Diploma in Education, Training, or a related field
Certification in training or facilitation.
Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and training software is advantageous.
Proficiency in English language is a must.
Great attention to detail.
High Level of Computer Literacy (MS Office, Google Mail, LIS and Google classroom).
Digital learning applications and software knowledge.
Quality Assurance.
Report Writing.
Motivational Skills.
Motivated and passionate about learning.
Willingness to be flexible to the learning styles of each learner.
Able to work with learners with disabilities.
Maturity in dealing with different personalities and individuals.
2+ years of experience in training, facilitation, or a related field.
Proven facilitation and presentation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with company policies, procedures, and culture (or ability to quickly learn).
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Some experience in training learners with disabilities will be an added advantage.

Duties & Responsibilities
The duties include the following:
Induction
Create and deliver engaging induction programs for new learners.
Develop and update program content to reflect learnership changes and needs.
Facilitate interactive sessions, presentations and activities.
Encourage open communication, questions and feedback.
Coordinate and facilitate new learners’ orientation.
Ensure completion of necessary paperwork and administrative tasks.
Educate new learners on company culture, values and expectations.
Explain learnership policies, procedures and guidelines.
Facilitate introductions to key personnel, departments, and teams.
Encourage networking and collaboration.
Ensure compliance with organisational standards and regulatory requirements.
Identify and mitigate potential risks or liabilities.
Evaluate the effectiveness of induction programs.
Gather feedback and suggestions from new learners and stakeholders.
Implement changes and improvements to the program.
Maintain accurate records of induction program participation and feedback.
Update training records and databases as needed.
Ensure compliance of all legal documents
Ensure ETQA compliance
Assist in execution of Roll out plans
Briefing learners on wellness
Explanation of the use off data SIM cards and data dongles
Direct, correct and develop learners within the classroom.
Manage and control learner behaviour within the classroom.
Direct learning activities via mentoring, coaching and workplace simulation.
Provide the necessary support to learners in accordance with the learner support policy.
IT ENABLEMENT AND E-LEARNING PLATFORM
Handing out of laptop and laptop carry bag
Orientation on Google Suite applications and programs

Explanation of rules related to programs and applications
Monitoring learning progress and do remediation where necessary.
LEARNER ASSISTANCE
Guidance and support to learners during induction
Answer questions and provide explanations to help learners understand concepts and complete tasks.
Provide feedback on learners’ work and performance, identifying areas for improvement and offering constructive suggestions.
ADMINISTRATION
Help maintain attendance records and other administrative documents.
Handle routine inquiries from learners and parents regarding class schedules, assignments, and other related matters.
COMMUNICATION and COLLABORATION
Communicate regularly with the Mentor and SME to coordinate activities and address any concerns or issues.
Collaborate with other class assistants, faculty members, and staff to ensure the smooth operation of classes and programs.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning community by promoting teamwork, respect, and cooperation among students.
